Who We Are
Our story began back in 2017 when siblings, Thomas and Claire, and her husband Dan decided we needed a change. We wanted a slower pace of life that was in greater connection to land and nature. We decided to pull all of our resources together, convinced our parental elders to join us and became the custodians of some land in Somerset. With three adults, two parents, two children and two dogs, our inter-generational living style began. Through the years of balancing and creating new family dynamics and finding new collective and individual purposes the seed of The Warren was planted.
Over the years, the journey of life on this piece of land in Somerset has certainly challenged us. Through beautiful and tough times our individual senses of our spirituality deepened and the connection to nature kept our feet firmly on the ground and carried us forward. We have always shared the same values in life around family being an important corner stone and also our love of gathering with friends and like minded people.
Between the three of us and our collective pool of passions, desires and skills of carpentry, land and forestry management and healthy well-being, the seed of The Warren started to take shape. We love making spaces for people to enjoy. We all need a space in our lives that we can feel at ease with whatever feelings exists within us and a place to have fun and be joyful. The Warren started from making what we needed and soon realised that this was something we wanted to share.
We are continuously striving to create a multi-functional space that bridges the gaps between ceremony, human connection and nature.
